Jeju Oriental Hotel has been offering 321 elegant guest rooms and 5-star services to its visitors since 1988. Only 1,300 feet from Top-dong 4-way Intersection, the hotel offers easy access to Jeju International Airport and Jeju Port just a 10-minute drive away. It also neighbors numerous local seafood restaurants, cafés and shops.

All rooms here feature large panoramic windows boasting either sea or city views. The seating area includes a flat-screen TV, and there is a work desk in every room. Spacious private bathrooms are fitted with both a bath and a shower, while the toilets are equipped with an electronic bidet.

The hotel’s Korean and Western restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and is located on the basement floor. The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast from 06:00 until 10:00. Coffee and small snacks are available at Leciel from 07:00 until 22:00.

Here, guests can relax in sauna and public bath facilities or take swings at the on-site indoor golf range. Business center on the ground floor is open 24 hours for guests’ convenience.

From the hotel, the lively Dongmun Market is 1 mi southeast, while the famous Yongduam dragon head rock is 1.2 mi west. Sarabong Park and National Jeju Museum are 1.9 mi, and Samyang Black Sand Beach is 4.4 mi east.

Breakfast was well catered with a variety of cuisines.

The rooms were too hot and they are controlled centrally and the room did not have independent AC.

Good location and rooms were adequate

For the price of the rooms, I would have expected a bit more capacity of the staff to be able to provide or at least be able to refer us to a tourist information service.. nothing wrong the the facility, and the staff were fine, but this is a gap - we unexpectedly and at short notice had to rearrange cross Korea transport, and no assistance or advice was able to be provided

overall the stays was good

Location was good with all the eatery shop near by, there are also a supermart just opposite the hotel

Not recommended for anyone who does not speak an Asian language

There was NO breakfast. See below. The staff were very nice and it was close to good shopping.

There was no breakfast, nor any other meals as this hotel does not have any restaurants, although they advertise they do and I have photos of their signage and menus = BUT there are NO restaurants!!! Additionally, it is my opinion that they rarely get non Asian guests as we had a very hard time communicating and basically gave up trying. There is a Casino attached - in reality, I feel it is a Casino with bedrooms.

Very Good

Good breakfast with all the usual goodies and more, most importantly maybe actual baguette. Small gym but good for a quick workout, convenience store right in the hotel is extra convenient. View from the ocean/bridge view room was fantastic.

Pool only available for guests staying at least two nights and with limited access times.

The hotel has a beautiful foyer and helpful staff, but the room itself was old and musty.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was big.

The facilities were very old - it smelled musty, there was a leak in the bathroom and there was a damp in bathroom wall.

In overall, the stay is very very very bad experience!!!

No, everything very poor.

-I'm pregnant but carry 4 luggage with husband when we reach but no bell boy to carry it for us, no deserve to be 5 stars hotel. -Front desk lack of service attitude and professional knowledge. -Pillow very dirty, room very hot and too dark, lack of power socket.

the recipient was very rude.. no smile and he was surly .. then he said the tooth brushing is not allowed in your room .. crazy hotel. the furnitures was old and dirty.

Good size room with big closet and big size bathroom.

When presented as 5 star hotel I don't think ripped wallpaper in the hallway and room should exist. Also stains in the closet walls so dark that I didn't hang my cloths up even. Moldy spot and yellow bathtub lining also don't suit the 5star acclaim. And NO WIFI IN THE ROOM?!?! Nowadays its not and extra service, but everyday necessity. It shows that it has been in used since 1988, so in dire need of refreshment - not only the ripped walls, but also the furniture.

Location and price was great, but stay was a little rough.

The bathroom was great, nice shower and its amenities. The space was good. The price was good for just sleeping in the hotel at night. Close to the Airport, shopping, and restaurants.

They need to have better beds. The beds looked good in the photos but the mattresses were hard and difficult to sleep on and have some relaxing time. The air condition was ok, the lighting was poor, and it needs some upgrades for technology like USB plugs or more available plugs for charging electronics. The Casino would have been nice to go in but it was closed for the entire time we were there. Iron and ironing board were not available, especially for travelers that pack their bags with clothing.
